Our story is as simple as it gets. We just love cats.

In February 2020 I decided to launch a small cat-sitting business to run alongside working from home. Shortly after the launch, Covid hit and everything was put on hold. Even in those early stages the interest in the service was fantastic, and when restrictions lifted in the summer, the business was flooded with requests for cat care.

 

Over the following months, I juggled a crazy amount of unexpected visits with studying feline behaviour and pyschology. The business was growing at breakneck speed and for months there were absolutely no days off to be had. It was a steep learning curve for me and not quite what was expected when the idea had popped into my head! 

 

By Spring of 2021 it was becoming very clear I needed to take on staff, and so the hunt began for the perfect cat people. Since then "The Cat Lady" has grown from strength to strength and become a wonderful team of like-minded, cat specialist sitters, taking care of over 150 clients and more than 300 cats!

 

I couldn't be more grateful that I get to work with cats, and have the amazing team I do!
